I’ll be honest up front - I was that worn out blocking spammers and then manually deleting all their posts, I went and hid under the blankets.
However, kudos to whoever did the change on the 'block' - I did catch one guy just now and, when I blocked his access, lo and behold, all his posts went 'poof' without my doing anything else

The “Blockade” of new users has cut down spammers enormously and I, for one, am inmensly delighted!
Unbelievably, though, I just banned one whose "About Me" section in their profile contained a hidden spamming link, amongst their very looong blurb about conserving hamburger meat in prime conditions (sneaky bugger). But he's now, gone!
(He registered waaay back in 1990, btw) 😲
