can you import unfinished downloads form utorrent to bitcomet/ if so ? how? please explain for a newbie are give page link to how to instructions… PLEASE dont flame, i really did search ans search 3 days, and gave up, now asking here? i have used both bitcomet and utorrent ( perfer bitcomet) sevral years now.. utorrent has stop, and would like to transfer about a dozen unfinished are just started downloads to bitcomet, if possible how pleae? thx for any good help, links, instructions
First thing, if you had the option enabled to add “.ut” to the partial downloaded files, you will need to remove this extension.
If your using the option in bit comet to add “.bc!” then you can edit the file extension from .ut to .bc!, if your not using this option, then just remove it.
Next step is to copy partial files to your default download folder that bit comet uses.
Then start the file.torrent/s. Your torrent/s will then “check” (hash) the file/s, and continue from current level. If it starts to download at 0%, you can stop the torrent “right click” and select manual hash check. As long as the files are in the correct location, this Will work.
