IP And port numbers for the DHT Network

Hey guys,

I’ve had a problem with the “DHT not connected”, I found that this can be resolved by setting up port forwording for bit comet on my router. I just need an IP Address and a starting port and ending port number. I’d appriciate any help.

www.portforward.com FYI, you only portforward if you have a router.

This is usually a settings problem with people’s firewalls. You need to make sure your firewall is allowing UDP traffic.

Thanks I’ve configured my router according to the website but the problem is still there even when I turn my firewall off, would really appriciate anymore help.

What firewall? -some of them even when you turn them off still block things.

do you still need help?

I use the free version of Zone Alarm, yes I would be really gratefull for any help at all,

That’s your problem. ZA is trash and you can’t turn it off, you have to uninstall it. Just get rid of it. If you have a firewall router then you can just use the SP-2 firewall. If you want more then you can get the free version of Kerio.
