IP Reporting Issues...

Help! I’m using a wireless network courtessy of my downstairs neighbor and the tracker site I’m using is going by his router’s WAN IP rather than my PC’s IP! What can I do to change this?

The tracker can’t go by your PCs[private] IP, because other users may have the same one as you.

Basically you have a dynamic WAN[public] IP and the private tracker is not registering your stats

Try logging in to the tracker before starting any of your transfers

hopefully they can associate your public ip to your account when you do.

Here are other common reasons for stats not updating

If you really want to their is a setting in BC that you can turn on “report lan IP” Or you can try using a proxy for tracker communication.
