Is Bitcomet safe?

Hi,

How safe is this program? I have Windows XP SP2 and with all the firewall McAfee Security Center could give me and Spybot software is to detect.

Is it compatible with those two applications that I trust and are to keep protecting me?

Please let me know.

Yes, Bitcomet is safe

It works fine with both those programs, you just need to give Bitcomet full server access through the McAfee firewall.

Remember though, if you download a virus then that is your fault not Bitcomet’s

just make sure you know what your downloading (read user comments if they’re available)

and if you happen to download a virus in some .zip or .rar package then McAfee should be able to remove it for you. :wink:

Note: For bittorrent & p2p in general make sure McAfee firewall is set to “tight” security level. Their new stealth setting is cool, but its harmful to p2p traffic. B)
