Limit Network Connections (Application total max)?

I can’t surf the web when BitComet open and running. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE BitComet but I don’t think the max connections per task (up/down) actually limit anything. I see about a hundred network connections and it doesn’t allow me to surf most sites such as Yahoo Mail.

Does anyone know of some sort of tweak or even a third party program that can monitor and limit BitComet’s total network connections? I’d probably set it between 30-60 total maximum connections.

perhaps this is a matter of bandwidth, not max connections you are having?

If so, I would limit both your upload and download max and see if this helps.
