I think that you forgot to include your images…
Regardless of you images, have you forwarded your port manually in your router? I ask because it’s most often the easiest method to establish a static IP address and forwarding your port. With UpnP, it’s great when it works, but it’s a real headache trying to figure things out when something goes wrong.
TUUS, if I’m way off on this answer just delete it please… I’m just trying to sound half-way “knowleadgable” about UPnP… ![]()
Your screenshot doesn’t show the port as blocked, what evidence do you have that it’s blocked?
cassie, you did pretty good but I can see the screenshot, however it looks like text.
Sorry about that. I did not notice here is the proper screen shot

What is the status of your port check indicator, green, yellow or grey?
Have you checked the port on canyouseeme.org?
The colour is yellow as it says blocked. I have and it says it can see me when i use port 80 but if i change the port to 13224 it says
"** Error:** I could not see your service on 41.162.29.82 on port (13224)
Reason: Connection refused "
The most common cause is you have a firewall or other security software blocking incoming connections, you have one or more routers that haven’t been configured to direct traffic on this port to your computer.
how do i add this port to the router?
You have to consult your routers documentation, this is not a bitcomet issue, however if the router was using upnp and it was functioning properly this wouldn’t be necessary so you may have to do it manually, or you may have a second router. Also you didn’t mention what type of internet connection you have or what type of modem, the problem could be there also.
We have some good info on setting up routers at wiki.bitcomet.com and you may also find a guide for your router at portforward.com.
Tried manually doing it and still same result its still blocked. I give up can’t seem to get it to work…
Also you didn’t mention what type of internet connection you have or what type of modem, the problem could be there also.
Is there any reason you’ve resisted providing this info?
I think it is a 2 meg DSL line(South Africa) but i have a router and i did mention the name. Sorry about that i’m new to this so making a lot of mistakes as you have noticed.
If you have dsl there is also a modem which may also have a router in it. Check the article on cascaded routers on wiki.bitcomet.com, it should be helpful in determining what you have and what you need to do. One simple check you can do is look at the WAN ip address on your router, it should be similar to 41:162:29:xx, if it’s not you most likely have a second router. If your router plugs into any sort of telephone device other than a jack in the wall, then it is probably a router.
My internet goes straight to a wall jack. This is the message by the yellow light i get

Using portforwarder app gives me this. Guessing that means i have 2 routers?
