lookup key was not found

I always have an error like this:

2011-11-23 20:37:09 Failed writing file: [The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context]

After that, the task stops with red cross in front.

It will report that error again if you restart the task immediately.

What I found is to do a manual hash check and then restart it.

The task will download for a while and get that error again.

It sometimes works good for 3~4 GB data. However, in most cases, it has error less less than 1 GB.

System: windows 7 64 bit professional

bitcomet: 64bit 1.30 stable

BTW, I have RAID0 in my computer.

Have you installed a new version of Internet Explorer lately? All references I find for this error are IE related. And BitComet has an integrated version of IE.

I have also encountered this error, but only in the last 6-8 months or so. It happens to some particular torrent, can only be cured by deleting the download and starting over, and often recurs when it does happen, at which point I usually give up.

The fatal x message “the requested lookup key was not found” coninues on. There must be some solution to this as I was using version 1.37 64bit with windows 8.1, downloading up to April 16, 2014, and then…the Red X.

Any ideas, any one?
