It would be nice to be able to have particular files matching a certain regex to be downloaded to different directories because I’m sure most people don’t just keep their downloads in a single directory and it is unlikely that a person will resume seeding after moving the files.
You can choose save directory of the files in BitComet. It is more convenient. When you start downloading a new file, pause it at the first time. Then you can follow the bellow pictures:

Nearly all of my downloads are automated and it would be much more involved to automate the directory selection.
