i just install bitcomet 0.77, but under "TCP/IP limit", my "Current half-open limit show "Unrecongnized". Can anyone advise on this?
My os version is microsoft windows xp 5.1.2600 sp2
tcpip.sys version is 5.1.2600.2892

I suspect that you, or someone has altered you half open connections with the lvlLord patch, or something similar.

I’m not sure exactly what you are asking.
This feature will enable you to alter the limit in how many current open connections, but if your copy of windows has been altered already, then this cannot be applied.
I however agree with dark shroud that the benefits of altering this limit are outweighed by the risks/complications.
To be fair, there are a lot of people who think it helps, so we do have this feature.
If yours has been altered, then the worst thing you could do would be to use two different programs to attempt to alter it.
If you did install the LvlLord patch, and want to remove it, I think Dark Shrouds post covers that.

Just use our built in since it newer & better. Ours & LvlLord’s seem to be the only ones out there. There were a few floating around back when SP-2 first came out, but they had nasties mixed in.
