Need Help Port Forwading!

  3. My Router is a Motorola 2210-02-1006 ports wont forward

  4. Was using trend-micro antivirus but recently uninstalled so just window defender which I currently have off as well.

  5. No specific torrent file

Ok first off I am kinda a newbie on the computer, but I have successfully forwarded bitcomet in the past though. But know I am having problems doing it I followed the guide instructions, and tried it multiple time with no success. Im not sure what I have been doing so any help would much b appreciated thanks.

Are you trying to connect through the wireless, or through the ethernet adapter? (Unless you use both, it would be a really good idea to disable one or the other.

I’m not trying to connect through the wireless. Thanks for the quick respond but like I said I am a real newbie, so could you explain a little more thanks.

Your previous post shows two network adapters in your computer, one wireless, one ethernet which is presumably built into the mainboard as most are. I needed to know which one you were trying to use. I’d suggest you pull the wireless adapter out of there, or it will continue to confuse things.

The ethernet adapter looks to be configured properly. Now we need to make sure your router’s firewall is configured properly. You said that its ports won’t forward. What did you mean, and what happens when you try?

I presume he is using the Ethernet adapter which has assigned an IP already.
