The latest version of BitComet has just been released, you’re all welcomed to download it from the official website.

can anybody told me how can i set low limit for bitcomit because when bitcomit is downloading any thing than my browsing speed became very low

You can adjust max upload and download, but check our settings guide to find the best settings for your connection.

you know what? you should just lock the announcement posts, or at least for normal members. it’s an announcement for crying out loud. people don’t even have patience to post in the proper section.

The guy’s apparently very bewildered, and is trying to cope with a completely foreign language. (His IP is out of Pakistan.) I doubt I’d do as well in his language. So, we make allowances.

I am having a Window 7 64 Bits Labtop. Can anyone help or

show me the firewall configaration for the Macfee. I have search

all over but it draw blank.

Hope anyone with a kind heart can help this old man but young

at heart to help configure. Windows 7. I manage to download what I need, Now since,

I upgraded to Window 7, I’am having this problems. Thanks

I truly discommend any and all 3rd-party firewalls for the majority of users. THe built-in windows firewall is entirely adequate for all normal purposes, and all of the 3rd-party firewalls train you to ignore threats. You really should uninstall Macafee and just go with the Windows firewall.

BitComet will automatically configure the Windows firewall for you. See the Connection pane in the program options.

Why does BitComet 1.31 disconnect seeding ? I also cannot kill the client process. It does not allow one to relaunch BC. Must reboot in Win 7 64 bit to seed again.

Why do I see a post/announcement here stating that BitComet 1.31 is available, yet the update checker says I have the most up-to-date version at 1.30?

I was without internet for about a month, which is why it took so long for me to notice that there was an announcement.

The update-checker updates to the most recent and “most stable” version of BC.

So, if you really want the latest you need to install it by hand.

Thanks for the reply. Noting the usage of this machine, I think I’ll just wait until the updater shows the update, that way I (now) know that it’ll be stable.
