Free software such as BitComet, and free support such as this forum, usually means that there is no simple and comprehensive documentation for you to read, since nobody is being paid to write it. Nobody’s being paid to provide support, either. So in cases like this, the user must provide considerably more initiative than would be the case for a purchased product. Nobody’s going to lead you by the hand. Read, experiment, study and learn.

In other words, start off by reading the How-To’s section(s), try doing what they explain, learn by experimenting… and then, if you don’t understand… ask in the appropiate forum.
