I don’t know of any bittorrent sites that charge money. All are free, so I suspect you have clicked on some malicious advertisements that are trying to scam you.
Get some adblocking software if you don’t want to see these ads, or learn to ignore them.
As for torrent sites, try Demonoid.me or thepiratebay.org.
A good one is torrenting.com and they use there own sever. And it free to join.

Our policy is that you can mention a torrent site if your voicing your opinion about it, or asking questions about it, as long as it’s a public tracker and the purpose of your post isn’t to advertise it.
Private torrent sites can be promoted in only one thread, and only if they are open to public enrollment and allow bitcomet client (current versions).
