I know this is on the wiki, but I did a search for comet ID pane and a few other key words and was unable to find it.
edit: I found the entry about the garbled text, but I think that’s a different issue. This guy posted the same question a few days ago and I think I told him it was an IE issue and referred him to the wiki, but I don’t recall if there is a specific fix for this problem or not.
It ought to be in this section, but the section is inaccessible – that is, the link isn’t where it ought to be if you work backwards in the tree. You can’t get to it from the menu choices.
It could also use a near-total rewrite.
Since it appears so often, this should also be linked in the "common problems section.
The approach is wrong. It would work for someone asking about CometID, but what if that isn’t the question? What if the question is more like the one that starts this thread, with the asker knowing nothing of CometID, or even that CometID is involved?
Ah ah IM back to where i started last bug report somehow the title bug was fixed when i installed 1.26 in my windws 7 ultimate nw after installing 1.27 the bug’s back >.> i have the same look as the prvs post BC image 
This information is html content, and being that the only browser common to all windows users is Internet Explorer, bitcomet uses it to display the comet ID pane.
The reasons it could be displaying improperly or incompletely are due to changes in Internet Explorer, either settings or version change.
Bitcomet developers will try to adapt to these things, but it’s a bit inconsiderate for Microsoft not to consider how other programs use their applications when they make changes like this.
Also, since this has absolutely no impact on using bitcomet or downloading, it’s not likely to be a priority in development, and if you want to know your level and title, then log into the CometID website.

That’s the “garbled text” issue. This is the “Level and title are missing” issue.
