Other ports appearing on router's port forwarding page

I was looking on my router’s admin address program to see what else was there and there are other ports listed on there that were not there before that I did not specify.

When I setup port forwarding, I designated port 50923 as TCP for BitComet. It was the only thing listed on the page. Now it’s the next day. I look on there and there are 2 other ports on there with 2 entries each. Port 41075 has an entry for both TCP and UDP, as does port 46931. What’s going on?

This sounds as though your router supports UPnP, and it is enabled, and other applications are using it to open firewall ports. Windows Messaging Service, and Windows RPC both use that port.

Just turn off UPnP in your router.
