im sorry im new to the torrent stuff, i just downloaded bitcomet and i go to torrentspy.com to download stuff but the problem is, when i click on download torrent and click open…it says the application cant be found and it wont start to download, can anyone help me? like i said im new at this so im really confused :huh: if i cant get past this i wont even be able to download anything, please help 
There is an option in Bitcomet preferences to make it the default application for opening torrent files. Make sure that is checked.
If it already was then here is something you can try:
Download a torrent and instead of opening it you should save it to your desktop
Now right click on the downloaded torrent file and choose Open with → Choose Program
Now highlight Bitcomet, you may need to use the browse button to find Bitcomet.exe
Now make sure the box “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file” is checked
Then hit OK
Now torrents should always open with Bitcomet.
you could also choose ‘save as’ instead of ‘open’
you save all your torrents into one folder and you could just open it with bitcomet through that folder
i think thats more reliable
