Preview: Unsupported Media File Format

Well- whenever i try to preview sumthing—i click on preview and the thing i want to preview and then when i click it it says Unsupported Media File Format.

This happens to everything that i try and preview-it is not just one thing-it is everything every downloaded file.

Can sum one please help me!!!-i would like to try and get it off and get it working with a supported media file format–lol

You need codecs for it, you also have to make sure the file isn’t compressed in as a .zip or .rar file. Download CCCP for the codecs, check my sig.

i went to the codec website and i dowloaded the windows xp codec pack but it still says Unsupported Media File Format

what is CCCP???

Download the gspot utility and use it to tell you what filters &c. you actually need, then use google to find and download them.

Combined Community Codec Pack. It’s FFDShow, Haali Media Spliter, & a choice of two players Media Player Classic & Zoom.

The Windows XP codec pack is has some really outdated crap in it, there are better choices then that out there.

I downloaded the CCCP and it still says Unsupported Media File format.

I also dowloaded the gspot utility and i have no idea on how to use it or what to do with it???

Can u please help me use it?

Ok, what is the whole name of the file, the extension as well please.
