First and Foremost: Torrentseed is a filesharing site, NOT a file downloading site. If you only want to download without sharing what you download with other members, then don’t waste your time because you’ll not be welcome.
Torrentseed is a PRIVATE bittorrent tracker and invites are only given to members who earn them. Opening registration to the general public is rare, and only done briefly. If you miss out on this, then don’t whine or complain because you snoozed. We don’t owe anyone a membership, and we want only members who contribute.
What is required:
All members are required to contribute. Some of the basic ways to contribute are…
Seeding what you download. All standard downloads MUST be seeded to a ratio of 1.000 (or attempt to do so for at least 2days) note, most members seed the torrents for much longer, this is simply a minimum you MUST comply with
Seeding rules for “free leech” torrents are also a ratio of 1.000 (or attempt to do so for a minimum of 5days) *free leech means your download amount won’t effect your global ratio. All large packs and collections are free leech
Uploading torrents (power-user class and above) Any member reaching the level of power-user is given upload privileges, and may contribute by uploading torrents. Additionally members with access to new releases and with exception internet connections can apply to join the uploaders team. These are approved on a case by case basis, but for the most part, if your using a home residential connection, then you most likely don’t qualify.
Donating to operational costs of running the site. This is strictly voluntary, but we do offer nice membership packages to those who decided to make even small contributions to our running expenses.
Serving on Staff and support (you will be invited if your dedicated and qualified. Asking for a staff position will likely excluded you from ever being considered.

Additional content offered by users. Many users offer their own personal favorites for movies, software, music, games etc. Some may not have exceptional speeds, but are required to post speed related info for all torrennts.
High speed seeders. Most of our staff and users purchase extraordinary internet connections and/or seedboxes, so you’ll find our download speeds to be very impressive.
Confidence in what you download. We offer Scene releases and any found to be defective are quickly “nuked” and/or removed from the site. We also have many dedicated uploaders that only upload quality tested releases. NO JUNK, NO FAKE CRAP, NO MALWARE OR VIRUSES

When registrations are closed, invites can be obtained from any power-user or above. however any user found to be inviting someone they don’t know personally will be banned from the site.
Invites can also be requested on our private IRC channel, providing you have verifiable references from other major private trackers showing a proven track record of maintaining a good ratio.
torrents4days looks like a promising new tracker. Grabbed one of their torrents and got speeds >1mb/s consistent. Offers a lot of scene releases as well as some extrascene content.

GC is a private tracker that runs a dedicated seedbox, uploading most popular scene releases as well as a strong selection of extra-scene and user contributed content.
