problem with cometbird 3.6.12

My cometbird has been running really well until this past week when it has been updating and crashing, updating and crashing (adobe flash plug-in stopped). Well now it has updated to version 3.6.12 and refuses to open at all now! I hadn’t realised after the first update (that it asked me to do) that it had set itself to update automatically, I wish I had known!

Will I actually be able to get it to open again or should I just delete cometbird and find another browser?

Well, you can certainly try uninstalling completely and reinstalling to see if that makes the problems clear up. Do make sure to do a clean uninstall, deleting the %appdata% directory and all of the plugins and add-ons, as it may be one of them that’s causing your problem.
