**once i got to priatebay and find what i want i click on **GET THIS TORRENT **( ****i have bitcomet open ) **
then a box cum’s up saying TORRENT FILE OPEN FAILED
**what is going on pls help me **

try another torrent site, if it works on other sources, then the problem is with thepiratebay, and you’d need to report it there.
Also make sure you’re not clicking on an advertisement, they have some malicious ads that say things like “download”, to trick you into clicking them.
The error message means that whatever TPB sent was not in the proper format for a .torrent file, so BitComet can’t process it. You can try saving the torrent to a file on disk and look at it with notepad, to see what it says. That may throw some light on the problem, but it’s essentially on the server end, nothing you can fix.
