remote/local help

after configuring my router according to the faqs found here, it worked ok (well if u consider about 10kb maximum speed download ok) and i had a mix of local and remote in my peers list. And suddenly since yesterday, i have only local again in my peers list. the thing is i didnt change any settings

i spent hours trying to configure the settings of emule correctly, i ve got a belkin router and a broabdband connection, so surely i should have a faster download capacity?

Did you make sure that your PC gets a static ip address so that the rule you made in the router always points to the correct ip. Otherwise if you restart your computer you may receive a different ip and the rule will no longer work.

As for your speed problems, have you set an upload cap? Read through the Settings Help in my sig for help with that.
