Resuming torrent from another computer

Hey everyone,

Really need some help here.

I am trying to download a 30GB torrent, I started the torrent on my tablet but i now need to format it.. I’ve copied the whole torrent folder to an external HDD but I am unable to resume the download on my desktop. searching around it sais I need to find my .torrent file but i cannot find that… all i see is .bc! folders.

You need to open the original torrent or find it again the same way you did initially. In the future if you download all your torrent files to a location of your choosing you won’t have to search for them if you need them again in the future.

Hey,

I was able to find my torrent file.

But when i go to resume it doesnt recognize i have half downloaded the folder after a hash check. I think its something to do with the ‘subfoler’ as the torrent im downloading is files in 6 different folders and when i go to resume is creates a new folder in the same directory.

If the files aren’t in the proper location it won’t find them. Put them where they should be and do a manual rehash.
