Does version 3.6 support the Roboform toolbar (that I have now with 3.5.6)? I don’t want to upgrade without it. Does anyone know? Thanks.
I, for one, don’t know what the roboform toolbar is, but strongly suspect that you’d have to ask whoever makes it, while reminding them that cometbird is basically just a name-change for firefox.
Thanks. I already upgraded my FF to 3.6, and it’s not comptabible with roboform, a great password manager. So, I’ll wait for a future version of Cometbird - none of the password managers add-ons compatible with FF 3.6 that I’ve tried so far seem worth a d***.
planet48,
You’re right: The RoboForm Toolbar for Firefox available at AMO is 6.9.96, which is compatible with Mozilla Firefox 3.0.x and Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x. However, you can download RoboForm Toolbar 6.9.99 which is compatible with Mozilla Firefox 3.0.x to 3.7 Alpha 1 Pre-release. I think it’s actually an adapter though. Think you may need to have already installed RoboForm in your computer.
This is compatible with CometBird 3.6, of course. You have to allow CometBird to install this add-on. Don’t worry, it’s hosted at RoboForm official website. ![]()
Another great idea (as an alternative to a password manager add-on) is to use an OpenID account. I suggest Yahoo!, myOpenID or VeriSign Labs Personal Identity Portal.
Hope this helps.
So interesting, but i prefer use LoginTrap.I think it’s prog the better Robosoft .Moreover notify you about login events by email.
