Did you install PG2 and update it?

Did you need help setting up PG2?

Is every torrent you download getting all this rubbish data or just a few?

Do you have a router and if so which model?

man look at this its ridiculous

total downloaded: 220.61 GB (215 GB rubbish data dropped)

average download rate: 54 KB/s within 99:99:99

this is from a game i started downloading about a month ago (Lord of the rings batte for middle earth 2)

and i am tires of waiting so long it reached only 72 percent by now

There is either something wrong with your connection or someone that peerguardian isnt blocking is poisoning that torrent. Are you positive that this is a legit torrent and not some fake? (are there user comments that confirm this at the site you got it from)

If it’s something wrong with your connection

You could have a problem with line noise causing bad packets(this is something that your ISP can test)

Your router may be messing with the packets. See Here

or if there’s someone poisoning the torrent

then you need to lower max connections per tasks to about 30

this way you can watch the peers and see who is transfering all this rubbish data and then block them permanently

I also think this is a connection problem with your isp.

A phone call to their tech support can diagnose this in a couple minutes.

If detected, it might take them a few days to repair the lines.

If the problem is with your connection, then you are surely sending bad data to others as well.

Also, since you said this happens with all torrents, It is prob. not likely that all are bad.

Suspect

thank you all very much i appreciate your help and i will try your seggestions…thanksss

one last question…how do i know which peers are transfering the rubish data after i lowerd the max connections per task to 30??

You don’t. The one feature BitComet lacks is an autoban for peers sending bad data.
