I had been using BTJUNKIE earlier in the day and yes it was working absolutely fine, and yes i sent 2 messages to the forum as in the first instance i did not input what i believe caused my problem, so half the time i do not know what some of you nerds are talking about but gather from some of the forums that some real novices like myself are in the same boat when things suddenly change or wont work. So from your response to my first message oh great one i dont need you to dish me i just needed to get help and not be dealt with in such a condascending manner, and it would pay not to demean some of the not so gifted users of these sites. After this members posts and his griping in a private discussion, I decided to suspend his posting privileges. Since I don’t want to create the appearance that I’m not accountable for my actions, I’m going to post the private conversation here for the record.
No one here is paid or obligated to help you, yet we do so of our own free will. I asked you for the link to pages you’re unable to open and you ignored the request and made duplicate posts. I replied again correcting you for making duplicate posts, and with your refusal to provide the information asked for, The only thing I could do was to confirm btjunkie website works fine.
Your response was to insult someone who volunteers time to help you. This is beyond rude and won’t be tolerated here.
If you cannot follow simple instructions, or ask politely if you don’t know how to copy a link, then your not welcome here.
I wont trouble you again because you did not read or take in much that i had said at all but formed an opinion that i was all over this site, but obviously you missed the part were i said that a lot of novices might not have the same level of knowledge or experience like yourself and i am one of these, i used the Bit Comet quick launch to enter BTJunkie but i got this info from support so i can now give the story that no sites will open from the quick launch for me, you have to understand or know what the instruction is before you can comply and also i had to figure out also how this forum worked also and did not know it was a hanging offence to double post, man what a serious crime i dont think, i hope you are this accomadating to your employer you sound so willing to assist anyone by the sounds. Stand back and have a look at your messages they are not so polite at all just short and extremely abrasive. Not much else to say but get a life.
We have topics in a forum, you post one, and anyone can reply with advice. You could have replied to the topic with whatever you had to say, but you made a new topic instead, and in it, you didn’t ask how to reply to the topic, or how to do what I requested, you just repeated the same question. This is clutter and it’s not allowed in any forum.
I didn’t “hang” you as you suggest, I closed the topic (most forums would delete it, so you’d never know why) but I replied to teach you. I then replied to your first post. If you wanted to say you didn’t understand me, or that I was rude, then that was fine, but again you didn’t reply, you posted yet another topic (exactly what you were told not to do), not to mention it was extremely rude when I was trying to help you.
Would you be so rude if a neighbor came over to help you fix your fence? if you were, you’d be fixing that fence alone. Hopefully you’ll see the analogy.
I’ve always thought of myself as one of the more tolerant staff members when it comes to abusive members, but this guy went way overboard. Perhaps he doesn’t know the difference between a reply and a new topic, and he admits he is a novice, but there is no cause for such disrespect and no one here will be permitted to flame anyone, much less an administrator (unwise move for him) lol
