Server Moving

Dear users,

As the servers are being moved, our site or Cometpassport system are not very stable, so being unable to login CometPassport or visit the blog site will be expected. We are trying to bring all things back to normal. Thank you for your understanding and support.

The server being down means that you will also see a gray light for your port-forwarding status. This indicates that BitComet can’t contact the server to ask it to test your port. It doesn’t mean that your listen port is suddenly blocked. Grey == Status unknown.

I’m closing this thread for right now because we need to deal with the management issues. The last three posts need to be pruned and moved to another thread in a different forum, because this one is for announcements from the staff, and not for help requests.

I don’t think I can do all that.

I’ve taken care of moving that rogue post and the subsequent replies in the BitComet General section, in a new topic and PM-ing the author with the link to the new thread.

I’ve also asked him/her to make sure that s/he posts in the appropriate sections of the forum.

Therefore, I’ve made these last two posts invisible so that they don’t appear odd to the other unadvised readers.

You can open the thread again at your liking, but maybe it’s a better idea to just keep closed all the threads which are simple announcements and are pinned, from the very beginning to avoid this kind of rouge posting.
