I have been using bitcomet for years without problem but since upgrading to 1.51 my D/L speeds are ridiculously low and it is difficult to do anything on my pc whilst downloading. Is 1.51 defective? I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no difference. please help
Have you changed any of your settings (opened ports, etc), added any new programs (new router/firewall/antivirus), or changed ISP recently?
i am experiencing the same issues as other posted mentioned.100% cpu usage etc,no new programs and no changes to file settings on bit comet.only happened with last update of program,before that it was running fine and still able to use computer,without anything being slowed down.
The OP is using 1.51 - 1.52 is now available. Which are you using (and the same things that Cassie said would also apply).
One thing that can cause problems is the router itself - when did you last reboot that?
1.51 & 1.52 not only slow my PC, but EVERY button click, highlight… anything, the program will go not responding. It’s really horrible to even use. Does anyone have a fix? It’s getting unusable for me.
