still not connected

hellllo !!

i recently installed bit comet 0.70..i studied the users setting guide…and i cofigured the bit comet preferences as described in the guide. but this msg is sill displaying at the bottom -->DHT not connected…

i must mention here dat my system is connected 2 internet via college LAN and symmentic antivirus is installed on my system…so is there any special settings for LAN n antivirus..

plzz help me out !!..i’m a new user..

You do not need DHT in order to download. It’s nice to have, but by no means important or necessary. DHT uses the UDP protocol, so your firewall settings must allow it on your listen port for DHT to function.

but still i’m facing problem..no download status…
