I have a problem… The download rate fluctuates within the titlebar but next to the task it updates twice and then freezes until I activate the window or select the task.

Indeed I was able to reproduce the same behavior. I’ve never noticed it before since I always run BitComet’s window maximized and this glitch seems to show up only when you have the window un-maximized, to say so.
At a first glance, it seems like a little bug that we’ll have to report to the dev team. In the meantime if it annoys you, try running the window maximized and you’ll get rid of it for the moment.B)
