I am desperate for a decent torrent-client for my Mac! All I have now is Tomatotorrent and the built in client from Opera.
Does BitComet work with Mac OS Tiger?

Sorry but no. You can try Azureus.
Look over Wikipedia’s list of bittorrent clients to help you choose. There are several Mac clients out there.
