Instead of showing the useful info I get some Chinese bitcomet search thing which doesn’t seem to be working either. How do I get rid of it? This is in BC .77. Do I have to go back to .70 again or? Thanx!

BitComet is being released in a series of beta or alpha versions as new fixes and features are worked out. Unless you’re feeling very experimental and prepared for surprises, you should always stay with the current stable version (currently 0.70), and not upgrade until there is another stable version release.
