I have used BitComet for a long time now and find it the easiest and fastest torrent client available. However, today when starting the software, on the tracker tab, it says Tracker Response Decoding Failed.
I have search the forums and FAQs but cannot find a solution. Any help is much appreciated.
It’s a problem on the tracker site, not your client. You might keep the torrent around and try again from time to time, if it’s something rare or unique. Otherwise just find another torrent with the same material and a different tracker.
If the tracker enables dht, and you and other peers do as well, then you may still be able to download.
Providing that there are seeds and peers present.
However a new torrent would be faster and easier (in most cases)
