anyone know how to get a download from one computer to another without using an internet connection? I have bitcomet on both. the problem with the computer who’s realplay wont work is that it wont play the video part of the torrent. help?
Realplayer is crap. What is the type of message you’re getting when you try to play the file? Why type of video file is it? What player are you trying to use?
actually, I said wrong. I’m not using realplayer. its windows media player. I’m not getting a message anymore, but it said something about it not having the right update and recommended some options. I downloaded them all, but the video part still wont show up. as in I can hear the sounds, but only see the stupid visualizations that are usually there. it works on my other computer, which unfortunently is not connected to the internet…
and about video format, its .avi
Download and install CCCP with Media Player Classic. That file has a video codec WMP doesn’t read, but it can play the audio so WMP plays what it can. With CCCP you should be able to play back the video. Click on the lower image in my sig for CCCP’s website.
