Hi q2w10, I’ve visited that blog and didn’t find anything wrong with it.

o.k

you are used windows ..???

what this is …??

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I use CometBird as my web-browser, which is about the same as FireFox.

Here is what I saw in that blog just now:

Can you please lookup this trojan on kaspersky’s database and post a link so we can know what to look for?

Lucy, The trojan was detected by Kaspersky, not the web browser. I can’t say for sure if this is a real threat or not, but it should be removed if it’s still there.

Also, It’s probably not a good idea to visit that page if you don’t have good anti virus protection.

Unless you saw an infinite number of windows popping up, followed by a complete freeze of your system there was no trojan there, just an overcrowded blog.

(Rather than make another hidden message, I thought I’d just hop aboard yours, Vasy.

*What are we doing, policy-wise, about this? I sure don’t propose to do blog patrol, or to be responsible for whatever malicious nuttery blog users get up to. *

*There needs to be a procedure for reporting, verifying, dealing with malicious software. *

There needs to be an official policy against it, viz, “your blog and your account can be deleted without notice if …” and there needs to be somebody in place to receive allegations of malware

*That probably can’t be one of us because we don’t have the access to the blog management in order to do anything about it. *

But we do need to be able to point people who ask about it, to some useful person or place.

In his post, the blog was forbidden and I didn’t know it was done by the anti-virus ware, so I posted the image to show that I can view the website. Anyway, I’ve unapproved it now. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll ask their team leader and see what he can do.

I also found a trojan

We have checked the blog site and didn’t find any trojan or virus on it.

Since both of you used Kaspersky as your anti-virus software, and reported the trojan, however the anti-virus software we use didn’t detect any problem. Thus we believe this should be a false report of Kaspersky.
