Unable to read torrent file! Please re-download torrent

I’m using v0.70 and have had no problems until last night. Now if I try to download any torrent file from any where I keep getting the error message saying

“Unable to read torrent! Please try to re-download the torrent!”

Im currently uploading with no problems, have tried stopping uploads but still no go

I’ve reinstalled bitcomet several times, uninstalled and reinstalled, copied the torrent file to the desktop and dragged it into bitcomet and still the same message.

Open the .torrent file with notepad and look at it. Sometimes it will contain an actual error message instead of the torrent data. There’s a freeware application out there called “torrentspy”, not to be confused with the web site. See if you can find it, and use it to check out the file structure.
