unrar problems

I’ve downloaded NBA live 07, Company of Heroes, and Guild 2, and every single one of these games had problems decompressing. Every one of these games would have currupt header or sumthing and can’t unrar.

this is what shows up for NBA live 07:

What is up with it?

I suggest you do a manual rehash of the torrent, this should repair any damaged pieces you have.

This problem is common in direct downloads, such as from newsgroups and file host sites, but NOT when using bit torrent.

It is possible the person making the torrent didn’t check the archives before making the torrent. If this is the case, it would be very unlikely you could find the files elsewhere, so I would just delete them.

Suspect

ps. you do search google for the filenames of the bad parts, you might find them on rapidshare, or another public host site, but having the same name is now assurance that its the same file.
