WTH upgraded to 4.0 and none of the bookmarks work they just open a new tab showing javascript and a blank page
The bookmarks can not work with the CometBird 4.0 right now due to a technical problem.
Our dev team is now working on this issue. We will keep trying; once this error is fixed, you will know from the changelog of a future version.
Before we figure a solution, we recommend you to downgrade to CometBird 3.6.16.

It’s been quite some time, and I’ve downgraded to the older Cometbird quite a few times now. But it keeps updating to this new crappy version. I use bookmarks for everything. And the long process to get to my book marks is frustrating.
Just curious; when is the new version coming out that fixes this issue? I LOVED Cometbird up til this update =(

goto Tools>Options>Advanced>UpDate: then uncheck “cometbird”
has this issue been fixed yet?
No. Keep watching for announcements of new releases, then read the change log for that new release to see if the issue has been fixed in that release.
