upload question

This topic may have been asked but I could not find it.

Can I restrict the directory that is being upload in BitComet 0.70? Thanks in advance for any response.

I’m sorry, could you rephrase that question?

Only speeds can be restricted. Unless, if you’re saying that you want to change your default download directory?

My concern is other files can be uploaded via bitcomet. Is the download directory the same as upload directory?

Well, when you ‘seed’ your torrents, by default, your completed files of that torrent will be at:

C:Program Files/Bitcomet/Downloads

But, keep in mind, you can change at any time, the directory of an individual torrent download location. This can be done by right-clicking on the torrent → Properties.

General Tab
Save Location [Here you can change the download directory of that specific torrent.

If you wish to change your default BitComet Download directory:

Options → Preferences → Task → Download → Default Download Path
