URGENT : Torrents not getting downloaded from Desitorrents

Hi All,

I have been able to download torrents from all other sites but from Desitorrents no torrents is downloaded.

 

Plz Help and resolve the issue.

Wll I am not blocked …rest of the torrents getting downloaded from Extratorrents and many more.

Only torrents from desitorrents not able to download as it says " Tracker Connection error : DNS resolve failed.

That sounds as if there is a problem with a tracker. ‘DNS resolve failed’ means that your ISP (who runs the Domain Name Servers) can’t convert the address. It’s equally possible that it’s blocked by the ISP.

Try setting your Windows DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (google DNS servers)

also read the tracker rules and make sure users from India are allowed, some private trackers have very specific rules and many block entire countries

Have changed the DNS and it worked :slight_smile:

I wasn't aware isp's were blocking sites at dns servers, seems like a silly method since it's so easy to defeat. Maybe they are complying with law in a way that doesn't upset their customers more than necessary. If they had blocked it in their hardware, then you'd have to poxy you tracker communications.
