I’ve bought 10g and tried to accelerate some downloads but nothing seems to happen. It keeps saying “Preparing your download channel…”. When something doesn’t work i guess the vendor needs to pay back my money or give me back my spent g’s. Here are the magnet uri’s of the files i’m trying to download with VIP acceleration:
And NO, Zerojinn does NOT reply when you ask for a refund! Don’t bother paying for VIP because it DOESN’T work!!!

Also keep in mind this is a free product vip is still in beta testing. I’d consider the purchase more as a donation, and it does cost a considerable amount of money to maintain the vip servers, so money was spent to provide you with the service you paid $5 for, but regardless, you’ll still get a refund if your that unhappy about it.
Regarding your tasks, I just checked the first and there are 0 seeds, so in otherwords there is nothing to download. This isn’t a fault of VIP, the task is just dead.
The second task is downloading, but as of yet the vip servers have been unable to accelorate the download. We have seen this problem and I’ll forward this to the development team.

Please be patient, VIP has had some problems and is still in beta testing phase. I encourage you to keep trying with other tasks. There are some issues where a task cannot complete under any circumstances, such as no seeders, no valid working trackers, etc, and there are some cases where VIP seems to fail to start for unknown reasons. The developers are working on the latter. If your unsatisfied with your purchase, a refund can be issued. You’d need to contact Zerojinn with your transaction number and she will handle it.

Yes and we’ve shown our support with promised benifits and have recieved nothing in return, I live in a 3rd world country and a mere $5 to you is R41 to me

Man, you guys complaining are a trip. They told you when the service first started that it was in BETA and that there were problems. There have been many discussions on here regarding issues that some people are having. That being said, you were well aware of the possibility of problems when you sent in the money and subscribed for the VIP service. Come on guys, lets all put our big boy/girl pants on here and try to help the programmers with constructive information instead of just coming on here flaming them about the same old tired crap…
@solarhead, my feelings exactly, and anyone who is unhappy does have the option to get a refund, so I can’t see the point in complaining.
@wattry, if I had to work four hours to get $5, I surely wouldn’t spend it on something to speed up my downloads, but you’re correct, here it’s about enough to get a coffee at starbucks, but only if you like the cheap coffee. Please ask paypal for a refund, and feel free to continue to try the service until it’s processed. When it works, it actually works quite well, but I suspect if your country has slow internet connections, then you might be expecting vip to do something it cannot do, Regardless how how much data the vip servers send you, if your ISP restricts it, you’ll never get good speeds.

Rafferty, message zerojinn, she should be able to adjust your account if your unable to use the bandwidth. There isn’t much else we (forum staff) can do, the development team is the only one with access to the vip servers and accounts.
