I purchased 10GB to try, then I downloaded a 9GB file but the VIP acceleration DIDN’T work. I tried to stop it and it says that I can only stop it after 24 hours. The downloaded file was completed before the 24 hours so I wasn’t able to stop it.
Now I am trying to download another 5GB and tried to use the VIP, it says I only got 217MB left???
I need help on this please.
Thanks
You can send a PM to our forum representive from development, there is a topic with instructions that will be updated if the contact person changes. Currently it is Queeniequ. You may also want to consider requesting a refund through paypal as VIP does have stability problems. It seems to work for some, not for others and since bitcomet is a free product, development is done only when time allows.
This service will be great when it’s fully working and stable, but the only thing we (forum staff) can do is suggest you wait till the bugs are worked out before trying it.
If VIP fails to work, pls apply refund on paypal and I will handle it. According to our data, VIP acceleration does work for some people but fail to cater to all users. Hope for your comprehension.
Queenie, this is another ongoing issue that needs to be resolved. I think this can be handled without a lot of effort, so if you can communicate this to the team perhaps some adjustment can be made… let me explain.
If you start a task that begins downloading by conventional means and you have vip enabled, but vip never engages, however the download is completed by non-vip sources. In this case you cannot cancel the vip because the task completed, even though vip was not used. I think some members are willing to continue to try vip, but in this case he has exhausted his full bandwidth and not been able to get any benefit. I think an easy solution would be to remove the 24hour min to cancel VIP. Most tasks complete in less then 24 hours and if vip can’t open a channel within 1hour then we really should let the member option to cancel and attempt to use it on another task instead. Enforcing the 24 hour limit is unrealistic and is causing problems, so I think it would be a big help if any task that hasn’t been able to accelerate within an hour be able to cancel.
This would be far better then forcing the member to request a refund through paypal.
Also, can we prepare a step by step guide with screenshots on how to request a refund through paypal? I know this sound silly, but some people may not know how to do this and since I’ve never done it, I really don’t know the exact procedure.
Thanks
