VIP

I have tried my VIP option this morning and it says “SERVER ERROR” , yet another problem with server. I don’t think I will invest in this again as downloads don’t seem to make it any faster…(in my opinion) anyway.

Please be patient while this service is being developed. We want all users to be happy with the service, but we have had some difficulties. If your unhappy with it, send your comet ID and any error messages to zerojinn and I’m sure she will find a way to correct the problem.

Hi car33, as TuuS suggested, please PM your username and more information about the error to zerojinn.

VIP acceleration should not have an expiry dates ..people totally can’t use all designated bandwith within 30 days especially for those who paid for 100GB bandwith, it fells like just waste of money for this services because it does not accelerate as good as it say.

if u guys want more people using this services ,u guys should remove expiry for VIP aceleration.i also has paid for this services but i did not get to use all of my bandwith within 30 days . :frowning: please improve please .TQ we will support u guys more if u can make this future without expiry dates .lets us use all our bandwith that we paid .tq

Thank you for the feedback. We do want our users to feel they received a fair value for what they purchased, and that they are helping to develop bitcomet of course

Hi haseo_shoujo, thank you for your suggestion. A 10G plan will expire in 30 days, however the length of 100G plan has been extended to 60 days.

This is an aspect of the cell-phone industry in the USA, that I hate. You must buy time, but then you must “use it or lose it” within a certain period. That certainly should not be emulated by VIP Acceleration because it’s a huge discouragement.

I feel that I paid for that time, nobody’s entitled to just steal my money because I don’t use it within a certain arbitrary time.

This was also the practice for retail stores selling “gift cards” that expired. That practice was finally made illegal a few years ago.

It’s not reasonable and it’s not fair. Let’s not do this. Time should be good until used.

Kluelos, I tend to agree… to a point, but lets not open debates like this in the public forum.

I’ll also add that keeping vip accounts active indefinitely isn’t practical either, but perhaps a longer time limit would be a solution.

Also, one fact that I don’t think is mentioned enough is that any unused bandwidth that has expired will be credited into the members next vip purchase. If a member buys a 30day 10GB plan and it expires with 2GB left, then buys another 10GB plan, they will have 12GB available to use, but also in only 30days.

That “use it, or lose it” practice is also true for the cell/mobile phone industry in Spain… :frowning:
