So, I only joined these forums tonight but, because of my Comet ID, my forum title is ‘Peer’. I see others with the title ‘Seeder’
So I wondered, what do these titles mean? Is there a perk associated or just street cred based on rank?
Street cred based on your participation in the forum. It used to start out as leecher, peer, seeder, uploader, release group, etc… I’d have to check to list them all, but we removed the leecher class because people saw it as an insult, even though it changed to peer after their first post. Also some members got custom titles for specific contribution to the forum, like beta-tester, support team, and of course nothing trumps a Guardian Eagle lol
