Butterback
Hey, I hope that this question has an easy answer. I have been using BitComet for about 6 months now and it has been working perfect. I get the messege to download the new version. After I did I realized that the transfers I had in progress failed to start anymore after I downloaded the new version. So I click on the Torrent Spy and I get the infamous Action Canceled IE Screen. Every tab is like that. So the problem I am assuming is Obviously BitComet can't connect to IE because of some reason. I am using Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router. The thing that is confusing to me is that it has worked perfectly in the past, and now the connection does not work at all. Any suggestions? Dark_Shroud
Ok, first make sure you're using 0.70. Also, update the firmware on that router to the newest versino Linksys has. Then check Portforward.com to make sure you have your router & BC set up to work together.
Butterback
Thanks for the advice Dark Shroud. I did as you said, however, problem still persists. Mozilla works fine and IE works fine when not in BC. *sigh*. Anything elseI could do.
kluelos
This often occurs when BC is gobbling all the upload bandwidth, and other apps can't get traffic through. You need to limit BC's global max upload speed to about 80% of your actual (tested) upload bandwidth to prevent this. (Though why it was working for a previous version I don't know, unless you changed the settings or they were wiped somehow.)

However, I did notice that when i clicked the IE tab, under the URL address bar. Those websites, such as RealPlayer Homepage. are up and working. It is just the torrent sites, all of them. Strange indeed.... Any help?
dimchopicha2003
try to make a clean install. search the forum for "clean install" you mean the torrent sites cant be accessed while inside the bc and from firefox or ie they opened fine. This could be a strange bug in bc 0.70 but anyway just bookmark/make favorite your favorite torrent search engines like isohunt thepiratebay torrentportal in firefox/ie and use them there. the browser in bc sux so much. and try the clean install it could fix the problem.
