bazzillium
OK. I'm very new to BitComet, Torrents, etc. I'm not super techy, but i'm sure that i'm missing several applications from BitComet. Whenever I click on either the help tab or one of the torrent sites on the left side menu, all I get is a box that says "application not found." I thought maybe it was a bad install, but after removing and redownloading and reinstalling, I've still got the same problem. Any advice?

The UnUsual Suspect
What Gavin is telling you is that your computer doesn't seem to know what "default" program you want to use to open webpages. If you use Internet Explorer, then his advice should fix the problem. I personally dislike Internet Explorer, and suggest you might find FireFox a better browser. When you install firefox, it will automatically make itself the default browser if you approve that during install. If you want to try firefox, you can get it here... http://mozilla.com Also, you don't need to use bitcomet to locate torrents, you can do that in any web browser, then after downloading the file.torrent, you can open it in BitComet. Dark_Shroud
IE8 is better than stock Firefox, on any Vista & Win7 it's more secure too.
