kamp5764
Ok so I have been downloading a file that is about 60gb for about a week and it is at about 93%, but I was stupid and tried to continue the download without having my external hooked up, so bitcomet now thinks that the download was restarted and does not seem to be downloading that last little bit, but actually the entire file again. So my question is, is it actually downloading correctly and just finishing it, or if not, is there a way that I can fix this without re-downloading this mammoth of a file file? kluelos
without having my external hooked up Do you mean that you were downloading the torrent to an external disk drive, and you tried to resume downloading when that disk drive was disconnected? If so, what was the external drive letter when it was connected? Was this your default download directory? If it was, what does BitComet say that your current default download directory is? Is that where it's now trying to download the file?
kamp5764
Yes you are correct, and the drive letter is G. I believe the default is just the download file on my hard drive but it is attempting to download it to the same location that most of the file has already been downloaded to. kluelos
Specifically, what's that? What's the default download path? If it's on G, what does it become when G is disconnected? "The download file on my hard drive" is not a pathname.
