Dorian Apryl
Hey everyone, first time posting coz I run into this very weird problem. Every task that I download - it seems - gets all the way up to nearly 100%, and then it just freezes. First things first - 1) What version of BitComet are you using? 1.14 Stable for XP/Vista 2) What type of Internet connection do you have (ADSL, etc.)? Broadband DSL 100mbps 3) Do you have a modem? Do you use a router? What model? Have you forwarded your port? I'm using Belkin G+ MIMO router connected to my PC via Ethernet cable. Naturally, I have an ADSL modem. I've tried forwarding my ports - set them open in virtual server list - still wouldn't unblock in Bit Comet 4) What version of Windows, Firewall and Antivirus do you use? Vista, Firewall disabled, no antivirus Now, that's what it looks like - I dont know if it has anything to do with the program not showing number of seed/peer that I'm connected to (they're all 0/0), and my listen port is flagged yellow/blocked - but that doesn't seem to affect my downloading speed until task's near-completion. I sometimes get up to 500-700KBps on one single task, but once it's near 95-99% it just stops downloading altogether. Any ideas?
