RobCr
In FF, I used NoScript. Does the the security in CometBird cover those needs, thus making NoScript unnecessary (possibly undesirable) ? Thanks, Rob
gavin.wang
CometBird use the same Rendering Engine as FF. if you used NoScript in FF,suggest you continue to use.
kluelos
Gavin, is there any easy way to import all of the existing Firefox add-ons and plug-ins, with their various options intact, into CometBird? Or must we download and install them into CometBird and reconfigure them one at a time?
gavin.wang
kluelos, yeah, there is a easy way. close all browser. Control Panel -> Folder Options -> view : Files and Folders -> "show hidden files and folders",selecte it. step: 1.open the directory "%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\******.default\extensions"(directory A) 2.copy all directories under "extensions(directory A)". 3.open the directory "%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\CometNetwork\CometBird\Profiles\******.default\extensions" (directory B ) 4.paste them into the directory "extensions(directory B )". 5.start CometBird. it is ok for example: C:\Documents and Settings\gavin\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\jfea0hhs.default\extensions (directory A) C:\Documents and Settings\gavin\Application Data\CometNetwork\CometBird\Profiles\6r6i1jit.default\extensions (directory B )
