Hi everyone! I have a new problem related to BitComet ! I don't know how to setup the antivirus scanner! I have BitComet v1.15, avast home edition, windows xp ! greywizard Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) At "Path" I guess you should type in, the path to Avast executable file for quick scan (or navigate to it with the button on the right); which is ashQuick.exe. At "Extensions" you should input all file extensions which you want scanned; basically all executable files and maybe archives. Further more I'm not sure if the free version scans inside archives so you'll need to dearchivate first. La "Path" cred ca ar trebui sa scrii calea spre executabilul de scanare rapida (sau sa mergi la acea locatie folosind butonul din dreapta); care este ashQuick.exe. La "Extensions" ar trebui sa scrii toate extensiile tipurilor de fisiere pe care le vrei scanate; in general toate fisierele executabile si poate arhivele. Dar nu l-am folosit niciodata in felul asta asa ca nu pot sa-ti garantez ca va merge. Mai mult, nu sunt sigur daca versiunea gratis scaneaza in interiorul arhivelor, asa ca va trebui sa le dezarhivezi mai intai. Daca nu merge butonul "Auto Detect" ar trebui sa vorbesti cu cei de la Avast pentru a afla parametrii. Din cate stiu eu, doar versiunea "Professional" (pe bani) are optiunea de a programa sarcini de scanare automate...asa ca e putin probabil ca iti vor spune cum, dar, ai tot dreptul sa incerci!:D Are you referring to the option "Virus Scan" from the "Options" menu? If the "Auto Detect" button doesn't work you should talk with the Avast support team to find out what parameters you should use. As far as I know, only the "Proffesional" (paid) version has the option schedule automatic scan tasks...so it's less likely that they will tell you how to do it, but, by all means, try!:D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
